Imposing historical skirt plug / belt plug or ladies charivari from 800 silver (stamped, tested and guaranteed). On the large cartouche of the skirt plug, sculpturally modelled as a tendril ornament, the centre of which is formed by a Hungarian 20 Krajczar coin, hang eight large pendants: key, plaque with deer and hunter, 2 animal claws, 2 pendants with set wild teeth, badger hair and antlers. On the back of its small upper cartridge, the plug has a long tongue for hanging in the belt or skirt waistband.
The impressive plug was created in Munich around 1900 and is a stylish addition to the traditional costume.
