Description

Small antique brooch from the turn of the century, made of yellow gold 585 / 14 Kt (stamped and guaranteed). This delicate piece of jewellery impresses with its geometric shape and is set in the middle with a pink decorative stone in a diamond-shaped setting and a small seed pearl. Underneath there is another charming pearl, which is attached to the brooch by a small eyelet. At the back there is a simple needling with a C-hook.
The pretty historical brooch was created around 1890 and its typical design makes it a fitting example of the geometric design language of around 1900, which existed alongside the softly curved motifs of Art Nouveau.

Dimensions of the brooch (incl. suspension): 3.6 x 2.0 cm.
Diameter of the seed beads: approx. 1.6 - 2.8 mm.
Weight: 2.0 grams.
Condition: Nice age-appropriate condition with slight signs of wear and fine dents, freshly cleaned, see photos.
