Art Nouveau necklace with opals and seed pearls, crafted from red gold 333 / 8 ct (stamped and guaranteed).
In the centre of a filigree anchor chain, there are small pendulum-shaped suspensions arranged according to size, which are set with a total of 32 beautiful cabochon-cut opals and small seed pearls. The characteristic opalescence of the coloured stones lends vibrancy to the design and is wonderfully complemented by the 15 delicately shimmering, creamy white seed beads. The opals have a total stone weight of ca. 2.2 carats.
The back of the necklace has a clasp with an extension element so that the length of the piece of jewellery can be varied.
The antique necklace was created around 1900 and is an enchanting representative of Art Nouveau with its delicate and playful design. A fantastic collector's item for all jewellery lovers!
