Description
Stunning vintage bracelet with rich diamond setting, made of platinum (tested and guaranteed).
The bracelet in finest design is worked on the sides from delicate rod links, the accentuated middle part is composed of floral appearing segments, which are completely paved with a total of 76 diamonds in octagonal and transitional brilliant cut.
The diamonds have a total stone weight of approx. 4.0 and carat and are in the medium to lower quality range (h, si2-p).
The rosette-shaped centre of the bracelet is slightly raised and captivates with a sensational emerald (probably Colombia) in antique cut of approx. 3.4 carats. The bright green gemstone sits in a discreet rose-gold setting on the bezel and provides a wonderful counterpoint to the otherwise subtle colouring of the piece.
The individual parts of the bracelet remain moveable through invisible pins, so that it lies pleasantly soft around the wrist. The clasp is a secure box clasp with pusher and security slot.
The dream bracelet was created in the 1950s, a time of economic boom, when people were indulging in the new, self-confident attitude to life of the post-war period and fashion and jewellery were allowed to become more individual and opulent again. It comes from a Frankfurt household and was acquired in the usa in 1955.
