The glamorous piece of jewelry was created around 1950 and was made in Munich by the jeweler Hanns Rothmüller, a son of the founder Karl Rothmüller. Karl Rothmüller was a professor of fine arts and one of the most important German goldsmiths of his time. In 1886 he laid the foundation for a goldsmith and jeweler dynasty that still exists today and has always been closely linked to Munich and Bavarian tradition. Hanns Rothmüller continued his father's high quality standards. He died in 1983. His work, signed with the well-known HR monogram, represents fine goldsmith art in the decades after the Second World War.
